Yep, 'Goldfinger' is the most popular Bond movie, and a lot of people also agree that it's the best. It's the movie most people think of first when they hear the words James Bond. You owe it to yourself to watch it, Rue.

Goldfinger is a good film, but I think it's a tad overrated. You should start off with something like 'The Spy Who Loved Me'.

It's a good film to start off with if you're new to James Bond. It's probably the most well-rounded Moore film, and like Vile said, one of the best.

LOL. To say it's well-rounded means that is has a good Bond, Bond girl, villain, henchman, locations, gadgets (even though the series should cut back on this), and action.

I agree, and that's one reason I liked Casino Royale so much as well. It has all the key things we love in the series, yet no stupid gadgets. It came a long way from the invisible car of the last one ('Die another Day').
