Hey guys, I have a small request that everyone just use this thread to learn information about the game, or post more info as it comes out... If you guys have things to discuss about the game, make more threads, because it's obvious this forum needs them. Now there's nothin I can really do if you guys all want to post in here about how great you think the game is going to be, but it would be nice if we just kept this thread to learning new info about the game.

I know I don't come here too often anymore, but I kinda noticed you guys were missing some of the biggest news about X8

the Japanese trailer has been released, it reveals more of that new reploid, some interesting things about Sigma (he seems to clone himself) and a very very big surprise...for one of X's old enemies is back...

That reploid could very well be the one trying to bring Sigma back once again. I seriously doubt that Sigma won't be in X8. He'll probably be revived yet again.

Its already been announced, he dies in X8

sigma has to go sooner or later, because the final marvrick wars has to be fought, and so does the elfs wars.


alot of ppl saids this game will be the last of the mmx series, i don't think so, it still has a long way to go.


someone has to create the mother elf and start the elf wars,
also don't forget about weil stealing the dark elf and the battle between x and darkelf.....


capcom won't be able to sloved all this plot in one game, it'll take them more games to do that,


my personally guess it that mmx willl go all the way up to x12.


X1,2,3 --------story about x and zero's beginnings, their origins and future.

x4,5,6 --------story involved sacrifice, wars, and aftermath.

x7,8,9 --------story about final truths, forshadows the end of war and everyone's destiny.

x10,11,12 ----------story that bring on the elf wars and X's ultimate fate, copy-X and copy Zero's awakening.

Maybe if a MMX:CM seiries is made they'll tell us.

So is this game on your X-mas lists or are you all just going to wind up playing it next week when it hits the shelves?

ok old topic, but i feel i should really put this, MegaMan 8 was on the PSX, but X1 was released on SNES... they found some way to work everything out... so with the release of x6, we get MM:Z... so once their good into the Z story line, they will probably start another section. if the MM series has gone on this long, i dont think it will turn up and die on the 3rd MM:Z, let alone, X8 being the last one. Remember in the trailer (forgot the dudes name) he said "Congrats on finaly killing Sigma, but now you have to worry about me..." so im sure there will be a series all over that if capcom has its way about it oO
