I can recall some days when Proto was still just a little nub like the rest of us, which was actually just a little while after I joined. I think he got his first mod spot in June of '04 or something. (I really have no idea, to tell you the truth). He did drop into the Megaman X forums every once in a while back then.

Actually I used to post a lot in Kingdom Hearts, FFVII (as proto said), and Megaman X7. I also visited X8 quite a lot until recently. Now I'm content to visiting FFVII, FFVII: DoC, and I'll occasionally pop in and out of here. I still hop around like I used to, but I don't post nearly as much anymore.

I also used to post alot in the Kingdom hearts forum but it's only filled with spam now and i refuse to take part. Although there you do have your rare unspam filled post.

RikkuLover, complaining will get you nowhere, and stating that you've worked harder or are more qualified for a position than someone else is frowned upon by most, especially if the basis of this idea is on the number of contributions you have made, which was most certainly not a factor we were looking for while searching for our new staff members.
wow was simply chosen because of his great knowledge of the series. He also has good grammar, which is very important in a job that includes a lot of writing or typing. Any of you ready to question sNap's position on the portal should probably be told that he was chosen for the very same reasons. If you have any legitimate problems, questions, or comments about the portal, feel free to discuss them here. ------------------- Didn't I see you when you thought you'd never stand out?
