Here's my GT4 wishlist:

1. Car damage. Like smashing a window or door. Or if you're driving your escudo in 1000km\h into a betong wall, then your car would most likly look like a bent piece of metal after the crash:D.
2. More garage space. More then 200.
3. More cars from the 60's, 70's and 80's. Good old american cars like a 69' ford mustang gt 500, or a 69' chevrolet corvette stingray.
4. Make it possible to drive the F1 in the rally tracks, i dont know why, but that would be pretty cool.
5. Internet mutiplayer.
6. More dust behind the car when you drive in rally track.
7. More realistic dust and smoke.
8. Make it possible to take a real smoking, rubber burning burn-out:cool:
9. The entry button before the prewiew track button. That prewiew track button can really piss me off sometimes!
10. A real pit stop. With people who's changing your tires and oil and stuff. Not like in the older versions where you're just being liftet up in the air and suddenly your car is fixed.
11. More tracks and races.
12. Dragracing online and offline. In diffrent classes like bracket sport, street leagul and offcourse pro stock.
13. An incide the car view would be pretty cool. So you can see the dashbord and gear and stuff.
14. More ditailed grapic... if thats possible:confused:
15. Make it possible to see the car while you're working on it. So that you can change tires, engine parts and stuff manually. Like a good old street rod style:cool:

1. No car manufracture will let anybody damage there cars in a game as it makes them look bad.

Sorry about posting this I have been writing little improvements I like to see in GT4 didn't realise how long it had got. Please reply with what you agree or disagree with.

What's the chances of the points stated by the users of this website making a difference on the end product. Here I go.

AI

Instead of just the cars why not have a named driver each with his own driving style (e.g. Breaking zone some drivers break later than others ETC) and driving line. The driver's don't have to real. Use different driver for different championships. Not the same five throughout the game. Also they should have money like you and offer to buy your car on which you could negotiate and you could buy their cars aswell.

Could the AI know where the other cars are on the tracks and make an attempt to avoid each other? Could the AI cars spin or have a bad lap no and again. To give it a more realistic race.

CARS

Have a garage which you can fit one of each car in it. Please include more of the following types of cars. American Muscle cars and American cars in general. More European manufactures. Drag Racing cars and put back USED cars as well as special racing cars like nascars ETC.

Other cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren F1 and F2. Also to test drive them would be good but only when you cant afford to buy them.

More super cars in general.

Have different car dealership. Each selling a different type of car E.G. performance, super cars, off road etc

Create a bargain centre like if a computer player wrote off a car and couldn't afford to fix it the car goes here like a salvage yard. As well as old bangers. Which would give you more options at the beginning of the game.

Hide secret cars (rare) in the dealerships which appear and disappear and will reappear and so on in the game.

An option to design a car using a body moulding service in the Tune up section. Explain there in more detail. The good thing about this no licensing needed so you could have damage on these cars if you cant put it on all cars.

Classic or custom cars like an old E type Jaguar or a model T bucket

Engine choices so a corvette has more than one engine which can be bought with the car e.g. 5.7 and 6.2. Same with family cars not all have same engine size. What about adding diesels?

I have read in the being of this topic that a few people mentioned monsters trucks and street bikes. And someone think it was RABBIT CLUSTER replied with something about GT rules could you post a link? It would be good to include some variation.

What about some road trucks like the SVT F-150 Lightning? What about a few true 4X4 like hummers? And some courses to suit them like cross country races and off-road races. As well as hill climbs.

How about hiring cars?

COLLISION PHYSICS

I would like to see damage to the cars. Would Like to see graphical but if not at least do it to the performance of the car to some degree. If damage was included you cant use the car while its being fixed and cost to repair.

GAMEPLAY

No Changes

GRAPHICS

Working lights, fog lights, high beams for night and dusk races and working windshield wipers for rainy races.

I would like to see a internal veiw introduced so you can see the hood of the car, steering wheel, working clocks and dials as you would if you were driving the real one. If you done this remember that British and Australia cars are right hand drive and the McLaren has a central driving position.

Skid marks would also be a good feature.

HANDLING PHYSICS

Bumps on road slow down car to some degree E.g. accelerate faster with all wheels on track rather than two wheels on rumble strip.

FR, FF, MR and 4WD do handle different but a car with 100HP has the same handling as one with a 1000HP. As well as a cars fuel tank emptys the handling changes. So if you include fuel like i said in Other. Also the cars weight should play an important role cars which are back heavy are more likely to spin ETC

LICENCES

Make it so that there are more licences if you add more races.

MENU

Bring back the shortcuts.

MUSIC

Keep the tunes as they are. And add a CD option so you can run your own CDs during endurance races.

Add volume so you can either turn up the sound effects or music

OTHER

What about a dyno in the tune shop? Wheel balancing in the wheel shop?

Cars get dirty so you can see they need a wash.

Include entrance fees to larger races. I find once you have a decent car. Moneys to easy to get. And other ways to stop you from getting 10,000,000 credits. Could you call it a real currency like the UK Pound, Euros, US dollar and other currency to suit the area which its sold in.

A special GT4 memory card 16MB or a size that would suit it better to store downloaded tracks and cars.

IS it just me or cant you roll the cars can you include this.

When a car is sold to another memory card you should get the money but lose the car.

Cars Value should increase with modifications.

Fuel should be introduced.

Included a new championship which you can hire a team mate (Various drivers to choose from rookies to vets better the driver more cost) so you not only have to win the championship on your own but win the team championship as well. Or instead of a computer player use another human player.

More cars on Grid. If a nascar tracks included have 30 cars. Come on we need more and 6 for endurances.

When you end a race and have lapped someone after a while it goes on it should stay the till all cars finish not just that lap but the laps behind as well so you can see how many minutes you are in front of course pressing X skips it.

A day system so only on Sundays you can race a Sunday cup. To advance a day just do a single race (include car testing) or add a link to the top to skip a day. Every race in a championship is one day.

Have an option for MPH rather than KPH.

Time of day included in endurance races so night turns to day.

Tyre wear should be different on different track like on a street circuit they should wear faster on a racing track. Since a track would have a better surface than the street. Temperature should play a role as well.

A few people have mentioned a 3D world this would give the game a lot of depth. For example you start in a small town as you get more money either move to a big city or country. In the country have a house built where you build you own cars and a test track with you would design. Plus you would have to buy garages to store your cars so no limit to amount of cars. Use a small town in each state and the capital same in Japan and UK like Cardiff and London and some small towns. Having to travel to race (costs) and takes time. Drive around the city or town. Like a real city traffic and police etc. I know this would be a big job but think of the game life and potential.

PITS

Include a pit crew. Have an option to change just rights, lefts, backs, fronts or just a single tyre. Which cuts down the pit stop time.

Have an option to hire your crew so you can improve your stops.

Add fuel into the game on longer races. And make it so you can run out (race over).

Be able to do an oil change. And alter tire pressure, spoiler and front wing settings should been adjusted while in the pits

RACES

Once you complete all endurances have an option to create your own. Any tracks and any cars or it could choose your competition for you.

Introduce drag racing and a Nascar (3 races for something different really tracks and length).

Head to head where you can race for cash or cars.

Introduce some small championships from round the world and include small track like Brands hatch in UK.

Ice or snow racing and some ice or snow rallys the was a ice racing car in one of the GT's

Some rally and off road endurances.

REPLAYS

Replays are fine but add so you can skip a lap and have more control of views a split screen to watch up to 4 cars at once would be good to.

How about a view from the rumble strips on the tracks to see the cars come by at 200 MPH.

SOUND

Make the big beast make some noise i want to hear that V12 under the hood. Be able to hear the turbo or NOS if included. Also jumps hear them make contact with the ground or scrap sounds when hitting a barrier or another car.

TRACKS

How about if they included 4X4's and cross country endurances track wear? Like on a muddy course you have groves being cut into regularly used corners. Which would last for the rest of the race.

Please include drag racing just no for the American version Europe as well since I am in UK its going to be other people in Europe who want it as well.

Please include 3 nascar circuits for a small championship in GT mode Daytona would be good and a small tight oval as well.

To test you car what about a 5 mile salt flat?

A nice selection of real tracks from round the world so weather conditions can play a part on tyre wear and handling.

For the various weather conditions I suggested in weather how about Snow or ice circuits like in Canada or Sweden for example.

A nice wide selection of course bringing back all old circuits from previous GT's and new circuits.

When racing in rain puddles develop. So you must try to find different lines to avoid them or just go through them.

What about if there was a bigger test course area. 400M, 1000M, and the Circle Track are a start add a skidpad and a slalom, a parking lot and a brake test.

TUNE-UP SHOP

Have a body shop in which you can either choose from a selection of air scoops, side skirts, spoilers, bumpers or design your own by a simple highlight the part you want to change and select a new part to go there each bumper would be split up into 14 parts so a lot of potential heres the idea try to make it work. This does nothing for performance just looks unless the spoilers would create down force. Very costly.

Put a part editor so you can edit the bonnet or any part of the car. And you can build your car from start. With 4 different chassis one of each drive type (e.g. FR). Very expensive.

Have an option to replace the engine once its done so many mile because of wear or just for a bigger engine.

All parts have wear if not regularly repair parts break like turbos ETC. Be able to hire a mechanic to check car over or replace parts in you garage while this is being done car cant be used for so long depending on job. Better mechanic shorter time but more money.

Include NOS engine wear is a factor when used. Also include superchargers so monsters can be built and hopefully a modem will be out so we can race your beast.

Various size wheels, chrome wheels, lowering kits, new shocks so bumps would not slow down car (if added).

Not just brake kits have I so you can get different brake discs for better braking. Have various parts which can be added to cool discs. So how much you use brakes changes braking distances.

Customs paint shops for special jobs like flames. And a option to design own paint jobs.

There needs to be more maintenance shops. Like Wheel Balancing, Brake Rotor Turning, and you can replace Brake Pads, Drive belts, pulleys, etc.

We, as car enthusiasts, purchase separately the header, cam shaft, ignition system, under drive pulley, down pipe (w/no cat!), valves, pistons, connecting rods, throttle body, etc... Check out Motor City Online for an example of customizing engine setup and parts.

Have snow, sleet, ice, rain, hail, thunder, lighting, wind ETC.

Snow, Sleet, Ice and hail effect your cars handling.

Wind also effects your car by moving it across the track depending on wind direction.

Have a weather forecast before the race starts. The weather can change mid race.

FINISHING NOTE

When GT1 came out it brought forward a new style of realism and now other games like TOCA Race driver has caught up it has proper makes like ford Volvo etc and has damage why cant GT4. GT4 should show the world once again why its one of the best racing games on the market. Not fall behind. Most if not all people here would like to see some it more realistic a example is damage for one.

Who would agree with me when we should create a document to send to the company who makes the GT series in what we all would like to see in GT4? At least then our opinions my get heard.

Plus i have new ideas since. Just havent updated it. I am thinking about sending something simalar to the GT makers to show what people want if i could get enough people to do the same or sign my because 1 list will not make a difference.

How about a LeMans 24 hour race!?

Yeah it would be good to have long races if you could save when you pit or something like that. I wouldn't want to play or leave it on for 24 hours plus.

I have alot of ideas on aspects and features aswell as layout of a game in my head just difficult to put on paper in words. One idea is you can run out of money but also you could repair other peoples cars for money for you. Like gearhead garage but a better version. Another idea is a total original on the gaming world not one like it yet. Still got a few problems with it to work out.

I been thinking an easy way to show the layout i would like would be to build another website on how i would want the game to look as if you were playing it but without racing. Need to know C++ which i am learning before i can build a game and at first games like tetris but hope to take on bigger projects.

Thats a good idea that you can fix others car when you get out of money or just want money.

One of my ideas is that they make the whole game in more of a street rod style. Where you can see your car while your working on it in the garage. You can drive out in town where you can meet people that you can race, drive to a track where you can test your car, maybe get a job as a car mechanic, drive to a shop to get some parts, fill up your gas tank, race a pinkslip test where you either lose your car or win the challangers car, drive to a cd-shop to buy a new cd that you can play in your cd-player in your car, or you can just cruise around in the city. This would be really cool online:cool:

Instead of having this place you can buy the same cars over and over again, you can have a newspaper where there are diffrent cars to buy every day, and offcourse used cars too. You will be able to drive out to take a look at the car before you dicide to buy it or not.

You will be able to buy more ditailed stuff like new steering weel, seats, stereo, speakers, stickers, or a spoiler.

Not stricly true, its only some manufacturers, like Honda that wont license the cars to appear damaged. Take a look at Project Gotham Racing.

But anyway... I wanna see more older cars, like in GT2, as well as some Ferraris and other manufacturers that currently aren't available.

Street/Road racing (like Burnout) with other public traffic etc would be cool.

I wish you could mod your car like in GT 2 i wish more weather more music unlock cars from Movies Ferraris Lamborghinis Porshces Masstrati Group B Rally cars boy racers cars and like real race events like the Uk Touring cars and lots more cars something like 50 the cance they will give you 2 8 mb memory cards the cance to use you music but the game crushes your musics KBs or MBs when you add it to a memory card the cance to make your own driver up like V-Rally 3 the cance to see him behide the window diffent times in the day the cance to turn lights on a off and as well a real pro damage system and aswell better gameplay better then the last on better grapichs some thing like 25,000 ploygons test drived by real racing drivers and the cance to get your old cars from GT 1 2 and 3 with Concept.
