Hello.
I got stuck at 68%, no more races are available, only red ones, I have only 3 cities to play (atlanta, detroit, san diego) any advice how to open more races or cities ? THanks

Look to see if there are any blue arrows around on the map.

There are only 3 cities in Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition, in the remix edition there is Tokyo, but in the original version there are only 3 cities.

I have never been stuck at 68% and I have played the game numerous times, so I don't really know why you are having this problem.

Check to see if you failed to race one of the blue racers and if worse comes to worse and you are still stuck you should restart the game and reload your save game and then see what happens. Finally you may have to start a new save game.

Thanks for your reply, but unfortunatly there is no blue races available only red ones, is there any thing to do with rockstar logos ? coz i havent collected them

If you get all the RockStar Logos you get to use Race Starters as Riders, and if you get most of them unlocked you get another category or two of vinyls unlocked, otherwise they have nothing to do with your progress in the game.

If when you check each of the three maps you find that there are no blue arrows and no yellow symbols anywhere either then I have to say that it sounds like some sort of strange glitch.

I have never had this sort of thing happen to me, but I suggest that you make sure to clean your game disk and then try playing a new game.

This time make sure to do 3 races in your chosen club races {BTW I always do the tuners first} and then always race against any of the blue arrows that you can find as this will unlock the upgrades and then unlock the next city. If you make sure that you race against the blue arrows then you will be sure to unlock all the various clubs, so that you get their club races.

Woolies, go into your pause map. Check to see if you have any icons other than the red dots, which are random street races and don't count toward 100% competion. MAKE SURE you scroll through all three maps, not just the city you are in. For instance, if you just finished all the Detroit races, you will probably find a bunch of the club races opened up in Atlanta and San Diego.

One more thing. I would be willing to bet that you have the REMIX version, which was released about a year after MC3 DUB Edition. 68% sounds awfully familiar. And if so, and you have done all the races in all three cities, then you need to go to the main game menu and go to the Tokyo Challenge.

That's right, in the REMIX you have a 4th city, Tokyo. And you have a shitload of events that will bring you up from 68% or so to 100%. In addition, there are a bunch more vehicles you can win in Topyo!

It would make sense if you have the Remix version, I didn't think of this a possible explanation.

if you have completed the challenge races against all of the individual racers and have won the murcielago and you still haven't gotten something close to 100%, then you must have the Remix version.

Well that was what I was saying. I find it more than coincidental that he is stuck at the exact percentage you would be if you had REMIX and only completed all career races in Atlanta, San Diego, and Detroit. BUT this may not be the case and he may have skipped a great deal of races in Atlanta and San Diego and just moved onto the new city whenever he opened it, forgetting all about the not completed races and challenges. That's why I gave him BOTH scenarios to check, because he never mentioned if he opened up the Murcialago or got the final credits. So we have no way of knowing, from his posts, if he skipped a shitload of events necessary for 100% completion, or if he did them all, but has the REMIX version and simply hasn't gone to Tokyo yet.

I have checked again and i am very sure now that i have DUB edition. since i got first reply for my post i started playing a new game and then again i got stuck 67 %, but this time unfortunately i have got ending credits and i opened up Murcialago and other cars as well but there are also some cars and bikes shows locked and prized locked. why on earth its finished on 65 % ?? is my ps2 percentage calculator is'nt working properly ??

I don't do the City races myself as I am really lousy at them, so I don't get three prizes when I have completed all of the other parts to the game.

I don't have a copy of the DUB edition anymore, but I did play it over 10 times and I never got stuck on 67%, so I think you either didn't do all the races like you think you did or you do have the Remix edition after all.

If you did get the Murcialago and you are still at 67% and you have more than 3 prizes locked still, it really seems to me that you do have the Remix edition.

Check to see if there is a Tokyo Challenge entry in the opening menus of the game, if you are playing choose to return to the menus twice and then look for the Tokyo Challenge in the menu.
