Hi, at what percentage did you guysa unlock class A cars?

I'm not sure, but I think it's quite high

I am on my second go through the game, after beating the PS2 version. I am at 55% and don't have access to Class A vehicles yet. If I remember right, it was about 60-65% but I am not sure.

As soon as I get Class A unlocked on this save I will pause the game and check my percentage and post here with the answer.

Its ok Chiro. I just unlocked them at 45%. Strange how you haven't unlocked them yet, maybe the percentage doesn't matter?

45% wow that is odd. Are you concentrating mostly on the individual racers (blue triangle radar blips)?

Because I tend to do all the club tournaments and other stuff first. Maybe that's why I haven't unlocked Class A on my first run through the game. Although I have been doing so much side stuff I could afford the Mclaren when they do become available. Weird.

Yes, I have been doing more of the 'racers' so thats a possible reason. I unlocked Class A cars after I beat Angel In Detroit think.

Ah ok then it probably isn't a strict percentage thing. It probably has to do with beating the main storyline characters than it does the side stuff. Good to know.

38?!!! WOW!!!! That is sweet. I bet going back with the Mclaren, and doing those side races to make up the difference in perentage will be a CAKE WALK for you now! lol

Anyway, I JUST unlocked Class A now on my second time through (XBox this time). I am at exactly 55%. I mustv have been at 54% before. Anyway the racer I beat was Kioko, so I think he is the one that you have to beat to get Class A access.

And when I got access to Class A, I had JUST enough money to buy my 2 favorite vehicles in the game, the Aprilla Motorcycle and the McLaren 1995 F1 LM. By the way folks, LOOK AT THE CAR STATS! That car may be 200 grand less than the "high end" Mclaren, but it blows the doors off of the 450,000 Mclaren as well as EVERY other vehicle in this game, YES including the Lamborghini!

So BUY this one when you have the 250 grand, TRUST ME! Sell everything you have if you need to!

Oh and as an aside I got access to Class A after beating his 3rd race, but I got access to Class B Stage II upgrades after beating his 2nd race! Weird huh?

ya i always thought it was kimisho i never bothered to look though your prolly right anyway once you unlock class a cars buy the APRILLA MOTORCYCLE its my faveone and prolly the best non specialty motorcycle in game i used that all the way up to when i got murcielago

Yeah, the Aprilla is one great bike. I use that an my trusty ME Four-Twelve.

The Aprilla is the SECOND best vehicle in the game, next to the 1995 Mclaren. And in some ways its even better than the Mclaren.

Man I LOOOOOOOOOOVE the Aprilla! I can probably win any race in the game with that bike! I use the Mclaren for a lot of courses only because some of the races are just too filled with obstacles to make the Aprilla practical. I bet even those races are VERY beatable with the Aprilla though.

Same here, I am now up to 45% and I'm thinking if I should buy a new car. I currently have a Gemballa Turbo Coupe. Preety fast but no-no handling.

i was gonna buy the turbo coupe but i saw that mclaren and pounce don it i love it and sorry chiro i know you love it buti gotta say i hate how it handles its just tooooo damn fast i mean i can handle the speed with the bikes but that mclaren i jsut cant handle. although if you can i guess that jsut makes me a lesser man
