Same as you, mate... ('cept I haven't had that much time to play it... I've got past the level with sniper alley on easy...)

All the difficulty levels are the same apart from the number of Health Packs and the number of Secondary objuctives..If you can stay alive,get First Aid Kits and know where the items for the Secondary Objectives are,you'll have no problem...I have completed the first 3 levels on Easy,and the first level also on Normal and Hard...It was exactly the same apart from those two things....If you can go through a level without relying on Health Packs,you'll have no problem

Im half way through Black ops (check my FAQ which should be available any moment)
Its easy than Hard mode as you have infinite ammo (silver weapons) and the M16 A2 as your starting weapon.
The only annoying thing is the searching for every last destruction item, sometimes you miss one and go through a check point - then you have to start again as you need full secondary objectives to pass the level!
The highest amount so far has been 34 secondary objectives!
At least the final room won't be as much of a nightmare as HARD mode was!

i'm on normal level, up to level 8 at the mo
tried the first level on hard this morning, and its was ok, apart from i got killed with the RPG

I've completed it at normal and leave it with that
its a great game,
too bad its a little short.

I now play each level on easy,then repeat the level on normal and hard before moving onto the next level
