When you unlock Silver Weapons,can you still use the normal weapons...I actually prefer the black myself

only if you play on a harder difficulty, i.e. I beat it on normal so now I have silver weapons for normal and easy mode, but if I beat in on hard then I have silver weapons for hard, normal, and easy. Another option is to play on another profile that you havent beaten yet. But no there is no option of having silver weapons, absolutely every weapon that you pick up after you beat the game is silver.

What about the wooden parts of the AK47 and the Sniper Rifle?

Has anyone got any screens of some of the silver weapons...I'm intrigued as to what they look like...obviously the same biut silver,but I'd just like to see if anyone has any?

I dont know of any but seriously your not missing out on anything, the first time I picked up a silver weapon I was like this doesnt look silver at all, but some weapons look really chromed out, its nothing really to scoff at

I think ran out of Magnum ammo once,only to pick up some more in the next room...I've never found myself short of ammo really...at least 90% of the time I use the AK47 or the level's assault rifle which the enemy carries anyway,so I just re fill my stock with their ammo after killing them

wow, im glad this has been answered...ive been busting my butt to beat it on normal, when ...although the RPG would be fun to use with unlimited ammo, Its not really anything to special.

Man i have played that dang Asylum level 10 or so times, and everytime i get stuck with low life after i get through alot of the crap.So Easy, Here i come. Hahaha

He's probably talking about the same place in the Asylum in which Bs is having problems. The only thing that makes it tough is the massive number of enemies and the fact that some of them have shields, so there's not a whole lot you can do other than be well-prepared and develop a little strategy. Silver weapons wouldn't even help you here, unless they allow you to have Silver Hands with an unlimited amount of throwing grenades.

Like just about everyone else in this thread, I find the Silver Weapons to be a little pointless since ammunition is in abundance in most levels. The only useful weapons would be the Silver Walter 2000 (Sniper) and the Silver RPG. I'm really looking forward to sniping my way through a few levels, but everything else I can do without.

i just beat the level on easy.

On medium, my problem wasnt the end battle (i couldnt even get there) my main problem was the shower room (i think thats what it is...it looked like one) and right after it... i run out of life and end up dying by the guy at the end of the long hallway with the M16(i think thats what he has) and the guy with the sheild (cant get close enough to have him try to hit me and shoot him because the guy with the M16 mows me down).


But like i said...im not sure if its a shower room... it just kind of looks like one so i called it that (this place is hard to describe because alot of it looks the same.).

any advice on that part (if you know what im talking about) would be appreciated...because id love to unlock Silver weapons and have that RPG and test just how much stuff can be destroyed in a level

Yeah that room is a bit difficult..you end up facing a lot of enemies wiht little cover...I ended up using all 3 of my health packs against just one enemy who had a shotgun in that room
