And all of the other vehicles in XD, the helicopters, the boats.
And the boats in the other games, and the van you arrive in in R/S/E.

And then you've go to take into consideration that all of the pokemon regions put together are no bigger than a medium-sized real-world city. Most people don't need engine-powered transport. There just isn't far enough to go.

And the strange truck and surfboard that were both taken out of R/B/Y.

Something being everywhere doesn't mitigate against it being strong.
Strong does not, by any stretch of the imagination, mean the same as rare.
