448:In the game you lose the pokeball if the pokemon pop's out of it. When in the TV show the ball just opens up if the pokemon was not caught.

449: When do Ash and co get pokeballs? I never seen them buy them. The only one's I seen were when Prof. Oak gave Ash some and when Kurt gave them the three pokeballs

453: Mew is believed by scientists to be the ancestor of all Pokémon. However, it is also said that Arceus emerged from an egg where there was nothing at all, meaning Arceus had to come before Mew. So technically, Mew can't be the ancestor of all Pokémon.

454: You can get an egg-move Gastly with Ice Punch, Fire Punch and Thunder Punch, even though it has no hands.

456: Snubbull's swarm route on D/P/Pt is the same as its National PokéDex Number, 209.

If you could use the same Pokéball over and over again until the Pokémon was caught, there would be no challenge to catching Pokémon!

In between episodes, I assume. Or when they're in town. If you haven't noticed, they don't catch as many Pokémon as the first season.

If it was for Haunter and Gengar only, why let Gastly have it? Why not let Haunter and Gengar only be able to learn those from Move Tutors?

457: Feebas and Magikarp are both classed as the "Fish Pokémon".

I don't see much of an oddity in that. Quilava/Thyplosion are know as Volcano Pokemon just like Entei =\

Technically, the ball breaks if the Pokémon breaks free. So, I can assume the Pokéball's mechanism ceases working due to the Pokémon breaking free, breaking being the key word. Either that or Ash's Pokéballs are from the black market
