Well then I'll try and get one up tonight, and I still haven't heard from Redemption about the SubForum, so its not likely it'll be up before the New Year. However he is undoubtedly busy, and loved the idea, so we will have the SubForum, just not as soon as expected.

However I would like to get some thoughts from all of you on the SubForum. Obviously the main types of PokeFiction will be Comics and Fanfictions. However if there are any other types that anyone could think of please let me know so I can properly set up the forum so it runs smoothly from the get go.

Any ideas as always feel free to pitch them to me.

Not entirely sure what you mean IC. Are you suggesting to move the discussion of the Anime of Pokemon TV Series into the subforum as well?

Well I'm not entirely sure if thats such a great idea. The idea of the forum is to take all the member created contests/ideas/images and put them in one centralized forum to help form a better community to learn and cohere together. The Anime isn't created by the members so I'm thinking its best to keep that in the regular forum.

However Contests/Spriting/Roleplays etc I was thinking of dropping into the SubForum as well.

Well the SubForum will be made to remove the clutter that is occurring currently, and also it will allow this forum to return to its original stated purpose - discussion on all aspects of the series. So Game Releases/Info/Discussion would all still stay in the Main Forum.

Comics, Fanfictions, Game Threads, etc would likely be moved to the SubForum.

Yes it would remain in the Main Forum.

I'm not sure what I'm going to Sticky at this moment, but I have certain things already laid out for that idea. The main issue right now is deciding whether or not to have the Contests in the SubForum or not. It will likely depend on a variety of factors, but it'll be a judgment decision.

Also I won't have someone promoted to the SubForum because no one is going to be as comfortable with its purposes as I, not to mention I already have the groundwork paved out in my mind as to the direction of it. Down the road maybe, but neither for the present nor near future. That would involve me teaching someone how to actually go about the daily activities of a moderator, and then teaching them the way the forum is going to be set up, how to handle certain ideas, etc. It just creates a middleman that doesn't need to be there.

Everything with this SubForum is going to be dealt with through first experience. Its going to have its hiccups and bumps, but getting these thoughts expressed with you all in the open should help smooth the transition. That said I have a pretty good idea where I was headed with the forum, and now what some of you (the members) want to see. More thoughts are welcome.

Personally, I'm not sure this is an amazing idea. Right now, the forum mainly consists of Fanfics and Contests. If we take those away from the normal forum, the normal one will die.
