I just saw the movie last night! IN the movie some bum kills Bruce's parents and in the original Batman movie Joker kills his parents. So who really killed Batman's parents. Anyone who's read the original Batman comic books know?

A hobo desperate for money tries to steal from Bruce's father and mother but then his father retaliated and was winning untill the hobo brought out the gun...and shot his dad and mom and ran off with their goods...

No in batman forever two-face killed robins parents, i havent seen this film yet, but i'm puzzled as to who is the bad guy in it...

Non of the movies connect together that much.
I never read the comic, but I always thought Harvey Dent was Two-Face? If that was true then how come he was black in the first movie and then Tommy Lee pops up being Two-Face? ------------------- fatboy faith | |

It was in fact just a random guy named Joe Chill, who is excellently portrayed in BATMAN BEGINS. However, it is up to speculation wether or not the Joker killed Bruce's parents or not. Burton said he did it to connect Batman and the Joker, but in FOREVER Grayson(Robin)tells Bruce "It felt like it was him(Two-Face) who I was fighting, even when I was fighting you." This is also what Bruce does. He later says, "You'll go after another face, then another, until one day you wake up and realize that your whole life has been about revenge." So you could say that both Batman and also Robin imagine they are fighting their parent's murdere just to have a motivation. So Bruce could've just IMAGINED that the Joker killed his parents in order to motivate him.

Then in Batman Forever they wanted to cast Tommy-Lee Jones as TwoFace so they changed the character to white. Batman Begins redoes the series following the comics perspective of how Bruce's parents are killed. This movie has nothing to do with the old ones.

joe chill killed his parents just like the comics. the original batman movie just messed that part up & had the joker kill his parents.

Not that it messed it up, it was just an alternative route rather than the already established idea of Joe Chill, Nolan was faithful, and stuck with the source material.
The Joker was never responsible apart from in Batman. -------------------  Over? why, my dear delusional Dark knight... it hasn't even begun...
