Pokemon seem to level up slower in emerald. It's weird how in FR/LG the pokemon lavel like normal. Or mabey it's a glitch.

but fr/lg has the vs seeker that helped me a lot it kept using that before i fought the thrid gym and my blastoise was level 50

Then that is fast. But Emerald doesn't have the VS Seeker which will probably make it slower.

even when you train with the elite 4 the second elite 4 in fr/lg have higher levels
