I haven't played HALO PC for 2 weeks and when I tried to get back on to play online it says "You must have administrator privileges to download this required patch". Wtf.. game was working just fine 2 weeks ago...

Windows Live is probably forcing you to patch the game, which you can't do unless you're administrator. Just get the main account to download it for you.

There's only one account on this computer. So it has to be the admin. When I click on "Multiplayer" then join game like I've always done it brings up that message right after the "Checking for updates..." message.

Found a solution. I've downloaded GameSpy's Comrade so I can join servers. Not all that many to choose from, but atleast I can still play multiplayer. Any other suggestions?
