When the game shows that little X at the bottom it means that you are having connection problems with the server.

I get it very frequently and am starting to doubt wether I should play online anymore.

I'll live with it. I only get a bit of lag especially when I play on a close server. Last night I was 25 and 2 on the Halo demo on slayer for 3 straight rounds bringing me to a total of 75 and 6 I guess the lag ain't affecting me too bad.

Evil mods? what evil mods, can't you just tell an Admin if a Mod is pissing you off?

Nope still no, anyway my Broadband connection can handle all of them.

There are over 100 severs that I ping in at with less than 100, so life is good

I have broadband, but still gt shitty lagg . I bet it has something to do with my wireless router. It will all change when my comp becomes the server though

Umm if you use your PC as a server you MUST have VERY good upload speed on your connection (1MBPS for 16 plays is sufficiant) And you will make the server lag if you also play on the same computer that is serving.
