Those are good for close-short mid range. All somebody has to do is back up and shoot you with something like a pistol or sniper rifle... You need multiple strategies and defenses for different situations. A rocket/fuel rod combination is probably the worst to have on a map like bood gulch.

This was on my host. SEG had an average 100 ping. Before he starts bitching about me being a rocket noob, why don't you ask him about every time he shot at me with a pistol? I fought him with my pistol, which was about 10 kills. The first kill he got on me was due to my stupidity, I plasmad him but I didn't think it hit so I kept plasma rifling him and walking forward. His fuel rod might have actually been the one that killed us both. The second one, he shot me and I panicked and shot my feet with a rocket. Hehe...



I'm not even that good. If you can't even beat me, you can't even compete with the top league players. Hell you wouldn't even get one kill against eagle on your own host. Sorry, but it's the truth.

if you play in a server you're hosting, you wouldn't have 0 lag, but im guessing it would decrease a lot. ive hosted a server for some clan stuff. it sucked cause i use a router so it had a good 30% packet loss.

Hehe I got like four or five back melees on him, and I was only invisible for two of them. Still he usually saw me when I was invisible. Damn ATIs.

Hehe just like me vs UsD...only he thought he had a chance. He only got one kill on me each game, and that was because of bs lag things...like at Rat Race there was that stupid lag thing when you two get close and try to melee each other, and you spin around really quick trying to keep the enemy on your screen, and it looks like his back is right there in front of you, and you keep hitting it but nothing happens, and all of a sudden you get hit in the back, because thats where he really was...yeah I hate that...that happened to me a lot on the ol' AOD server, so maybe its just a problem when you have 133 ping. Hehe I still raped UsD even with high ping.

If you want, SEG, I will play you on your host tonight. But i'll probably just do better since my pistol is used to 100-133, and I won't be tempted to make a fool out of you with melees XD.

Just make sure you have a gametype with no radar, and it's a playable high-ping map, like hang em or blood gulch.
