This is how you kick plyers when you are hosting a game. |
|
Ive seen a few questions about this and im not gonna give out my email anymore so here goes:
First you have to activate the console by opening up the game properties(right click on shortcut on desktop) and adding "-console" (without the quotes), after the the rest of the line in the "Target" text box. The text already in that box WILL have quotes around it, dont delete them. quote What it should look likethen, while in game you can press the ~ key to open the console. Type in (without the quotes) "sv_kick playername" or "sv_ban playername". if the players name has spaces in it you need to use the _ instead of a space...i think. when you ban them, it is for a certain amount of time. their cd-key and ip will be rejected until the time ban is up, or will always be rejected if it is an indefinite ban...which is the kind i told you how to do above. to get a name off of your ban list, search through "my games>halo>banlist" and delete the entry of who you want to let back into your servers. The entries are long lines that include the players name, cd-key of their copy of halo, and the specs on the time ban. hopefully you all can have fun now banning tk'ers This message was edited by Anonymous1 on Oct 08 2006. ------------------- Union
