Are you talking about the massive piece of ice where you can see a 'room' underneath?

You dont break it if I remember rightly, you need to go behind some trees which are hiding a gap in the side of the mountain, that path will lead you down to under the ice.

Now where the trees are again is another question entirely!

I think if your facing the fort they are to the left, quite near the edge.

if your facing the fort they are on the right just before you get to the 2 circle lift things! there are about 4 trees and you walk through!
