I wish Jak would say something!!!!!!I wanna hear his respondes to a lot of stuff that is said and done in the game.

There is a simple reason as to why Jak doesnt talk - it's a clever method of retention on Naughty Dog's behalf, and one which is becoming ever more common for lead characters of video games today. Because Jak has no voice or opinion, gamers are immersed further into the game because they are able to create their own perception of his personality and how he would respond to certain situations - so in a sense, you are Jak.

Obviously someone around here doesnt understand the basic concepts of video games. Maybe the age on your personal profile has something to do with it?!

I think sometimes Jak does want to talk...in the prequel cutscene, where the green sage asks Jak where he has been, Jak was about to speak when Daxter interrupted him. If one looks closely, one'll find Jak constantly being interrupted. In the meantime, though, you can try to satisfy your desire to hear Jak's voice by listening to him laugh, or grunt: 'oof!' 'aaaa...' or 'umph!'
