Nor is it part of the main Campaign, which is what we are discussing in this topic.
Anyway, if differing class values don't work, then I'd say you're right in that the Entombed Bonus is *not* 60. I've noticed units getting exceptional Exp gains even from non-boss Entombed, so I'm sure that such a Bonus exists, we merely need to figure out what it is.

I've played through this game nearly 70 times and never noticed any other Monsters giving out significantly more Exp than the others. Only Entombed.

OK, I declare myself swayed by the arguments of TS and WJC. The only thing that I will still argue is that Lute is better as Sage than MK. Other promotions and matters regarding XP, I support TS and WJC now. Huzzah.
But this is only for main campaign, the scenario remains different for Creature Campaign and Link Arena. ------------------- 飞 雪 连 天 射 白 鹿 . . . . . . 笑 书 神 侠 倚 碧 鸳

Of course; with infinite Exp available in the CC, 20/20 stats are what should be assumed there.

quoteYes, but they're bosses. In that case they get the boss bonus (which appears to be correct at the moment but still testing). It's not a monster bonus and so will not apply to the monsters in Darkling Woods. -------------------

Do your own testing then. By all means I encourage any and all people here interested to do testing within their own games to clarify the situation. The more testing done the better, as it can only solidify the correct answer. Please, post the results of each character battle that is relevant. Post character name, levels, classes, formula prediction and actual gains. Dictate if boss type or not. I can tell you now that my 14 Bishop Artur got 53 points against a non-boss Entombed and only a few points against any other non-boss monster defeated thus far (this is covering a wide range of unpromoted monsters including Baels, Revenants and Maelduins). I'll test against the promoted monsters later with Artur if you like, but I'm sure there will not be any monster bonus factored in and the only EXP gained will be based on the levels plus the base value and not any extra bonus. I've already had Duessel and Kyle fight promoted monsters like Wights and no extra point bonus was awarded.
If you disbelieve my results go into the game yourself and recreate the situations or run your own tests. You'll find you'll come up with the same results. As I said, the Entombed bonus is wrong (yes, you were right about that point) and indeed the other bonuses are now called into question (although currently two tests against non-Entombed bosses have appeared to prove the boss value bonus correct). Gorgon Eggs are a constant 50 EXP regardless of level, from what I've noticed.

Pretty sure it's 49-51, I *think* it fluctuates by 1 point sometimes...

Hm. I've yet to fail to receive anything more or less than 50 EXP.
Maybe there's some sort of odd fluctuation unique to Gorgon Eggs. Gorgon Eggs are pretty much given to *not* fit the EXP formula; the greatest fluctuation mentioned yet is DL's 49-51 fluctuation, which is much too small to fit within the confines of the EXP formula. This could be problematic, since Gorgon Eggs, unlike Entombed bosses, occur frequently enough to cause complications (one chapter chock full of 'em).
