Hi there!

I enjoyed this great game until I entered the maze of Hades.

I ABSOLUTELY cleaned the two levels of ALL monsters but the door still wouldn't open. And by ABSOLUTELY and ALL I mean I've killed every motherfuc.king last one of them. But still the door was sealed and saying I have to kill every monster to continue.

Then by accident I found that there is a bug in the game:
Resting from running around through both (already cleaned up) levels I stood on the pushable door that leads to the two chests containing red orbs. This pushable door can be found right at the beginnning of Level 2. Standing there resting I suddenly heard monster sounds ... but no monster was visible. So I turned around but there was no one, too. By using "Poseidons Rage" two times I managed to kill the monster that somehow got stuck alive under the pushable door right below the floor. And voila: a cutscene appeared showing the door opening.

Costed me two hours ... DAM.N ...

Well, while standing on the smashing block, there is another room to the far back that you can only get to by moving forward and making the block go further back until you can get into the opening.

I know. As I wrote I killed EVERY monster visible in EVERY room you can access in those two levels.

In addition to the workaround posted above.
The glitch seems to depend on a clipping bug, allowing the monster to stand in the solid floor where it can not be seen, being there nevertheless. Kratos is not affected by the clipping bug at first. The monster can not be killed using your blades, so magic use is needed, as already mentioned above. But be careful here, as using "Poseidons Rage" (PR) while standing on the top of the former pushable wall will turn off clipping for Kratos too, resulting in him beingt stuck inside a rock. Before using PR back off a little, positioning yourself right before the pushable wall in the ground.

what if don't have any magic?

the only way was to start from the last checkpoint and i did so now i'm trying to solve the necklace puzzle!

hasnt happend to me, though i dont think its hard to figure out on YOUR own that some AOE in most games pass walls and stuff, so bugged badguys get pwned i found out bout that room by accident - one of the badguys was swingin his arm 2 high and i thought it was part of the wall texture) thats what happens when u play on 30%brightnes

i never had a problem in the maze. btw does anyone elses game start freezing up in the cut scene where kratos is climbing kronos or is my disk buggered? it looks fine to me. it gets through the scene but i find it helps to have a book handy

Start from the last save point. There should be full magic and health at the beginning of the maze. You're just going to have to conserve it.

If you upgraded your blades of chaos Lance of the furies(air) might help.

Also had this problem didnt find the bugged monsters though, just clear it 3 times and the 3rd time the door finally opened.

Hey everyone,
I was just reading forum posts because I too got stuck in the maze and the solution they gave me was another glitch: go to Hades´ door and do Apollo´s ascension. Sometimes it takes once, sometimes more, but keep doing it until you magically cross the door. It´s really cool! You can see on Youtube (go figure). I was pretty frustrated too until I saw that, because I had spent a couple of hours without saving.
