Okay I'm in Athens and I just watched the oracle lady get taken away by a bat-thingy, I was trying to follow her, but I fell down way farther back into the level, then I fought my way back to the area again, so I crossed the bridge that the "coward" would not extend, then in that hallway that leads to a small pool before curving around. So I beat a few black-goo things (I think they are called Raiders) then I went through the water, and was just about to get into the entrance to the area that I fell from, when my screen goes pitch black as though it was loading a movie, then it stays that way. I can still hear the sound effects, and if I pause the menu screen comes up, once I un-pause though, it is still black!!!!! WTF is going on, I tried twice on one PS2 to the same result, then brought it to another PS2 to the same result!!!! I MUST KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!!!!

Dude, when you fall, simply climb the ladder back up. No need for going through all the other levels.

I fell back down to Athens Town Square, and to proceed I have to go that way. Otherwise I won't be able to find the Oracle.

Maybe its youre disc. Go trade it in for a new one.

Okay first of all, there is no ladder, otherwise you could've just made it up ther from the start. And second of all do you not know the meaning of JK? (Just Kidding?)

I checked the disc and it is pefectly fine, so instead of trading in a perfectly good disc, I'm just gonna rent it and see if that works.

I don't understand what you mean you fell down way farther back into the level Are you talking about the piece of wood you have to scale across? You can climb up the ladder right next to the platform. But the way you make it sound, its like you fell through the floor. All the black screen and all that sounds like a glitch.

Okay I'll try looking for the ladder thanks for your help. And yes I did mean I have to scale across the wooden board.

Okay now I've got a new problem, I can't get to the ladder. Because I only got there because I fell off the plank. I tried to go backwards but it leads to large pillars with vines on them, and since the camera angle doesn't move at all I can't make it. I CAN'T WIN!!!!!

The ladder is right where you fall, in the town squake leading back to the plank.

But I can't make it back to where I fell! If I go forward the screen goes black and I can't go backwards because it lead to vines that you can't reach!!! Is there anyway I can make myself restart the level or something?

Oh. Just start a new game.

wow that sounds weird did you try restarting from the last check point that will usually clear up some glitches
