Hey guys this thread is basically to discuss this game and it's aspects. I know for myself I am very much looking forward to the advanced controls over this game. I hear it will be more indepth then the previous titles with more control. Also the graphics look very good, a much better upgrade from the previous titles.

yah the "cluster engine" looks amazing, really cant wait to get my hands on this game.... improved version of 2 without magic, more human use of artillery, more special units and troop options, and a more in depth story and i will be a happy camper....

I liked the magic in part 2 however I wish they would of let you skip the spells like in part 1. Those spells took forever to execute and cetain voices were a bit annoying.

I can't say, never played kessen. But I did play Kessen2 and I liked the magic! I always had an easy time winning using Zhuge's spells or Cai Wengi's for that matter.

I just watched the trailer, so no magic? I hope so

I just saw the units powering up and doing chargers while "on-fire or charged up", wasn't sure if it was magic or not. But i'm guessing those silly "call to the lightning attacks" are gone.

Is this game all in the samurai age or does it use guns too?

make's me remember something... It was a little movie of Kessen3 and there was this general doing an attack, calling on some fire phoenix and incinerating the other army... I'll see if I can find it again. I'll be editing this post.

Still, there's gonna be arguing about it being in the game or not since it ain't all that clear. Anyways, make up your own story about it.

It's definately going to be interesting how they do that. I thought they should of had some magic but oh well. Makes it more simple combat I guess not having to toggle between armies looking for good spots to use magic.

I loved Kessen 2, it was way better than the first one. It had a good Storyline, Graphics and gameplay. I love the Magic and new command abilties. Maybe they will add more stuff to Kessen 2. It be really cool if they combined DW with Kessen. You can have control over the whole entire army. If stragety fails you can control a General and win by force! Now wouldn't that be cool!

i just wonderin is the battle like the 2nd one like there is a mini map just shows where your units goes? where it just a unit that looks like a box the moves around

soo i will try to get this forum up and running.........who do you guys and gals think is the best fighter on kessen III. i would say the shinsuke murasane guy as his double spear wall would do about 3000 damage to the other armies even in the earlier chapters, shame he switched side half way through the game
