These are a sort of splash screen logo! I'd like an oppinion on which one is better!

I prefer lettuce...sorry, wrong topic.
Well, i think both need some work on the text, its very wild, and painful on my beautiful green eyes. Perhaps toning down the bevel/emboss on the text a bit would increase the effect, without making it so...awkward? Also, rasterizing the layer on a duplicate, and adding some effects might make up for the lost emboss. Sorry. I prefer the gem of the second, and the text of the first. Overall though, the gem will draw the most attention, so my favor would go to the second. -------------------  | |

Something a little different with the second one then (as suggested by arion):
 I didn't want to get rid of the bevel completely because I wanted it to sort of match the gem design!  -------------------

Rawr!I see no third.But im a noob, so i'll be quiet.
I agree with arion, the firsts ones text with the seconds gem would be an excellent combination, but the gem captures more attention than the font, so my vote lies with the 2nd.

Well the top part of text is my actual gaming title while the lower text is like a slogan. It may not be fancy or nothing but I invented it as a little kid and considering I was a little kid when I got into video games I've decided to go back to my roots! -------------------
