The night was evidential that the trees had their suspicions as well. As the moon glowed red, we all knew it had been done that day.
Far to the east, in the forgotten city of Ash, Lord Gauph himself stood in front of his company with blood dripping from each side of his brow, and a slight grin.
He raised his sword to the air with his other arm grasping the chain, he burst with a loud roar as his men did also.

Bandaered, the kingdom to the south, a castle in the sand and a city lost in the illusions of the desert, where his majesty King Gregory VI hails. His men were defeated at the front of Ash where the Gauph's men entered the Great Island.
The decree was set by the king that three messengers would be sent out to the three kingdoms of the Great Island; Halbert, the kingdom of the north, Hanley, the kingdom to the west, and New Ash, the flying city in the center of the Great Island.

These three messengers carried a letter baring the hope of the Great Island itself. If they did not reach their destination and gain the aid of the other three kingdoms, Gauph would surely destroy Bandaered and gain even more power from its chain.

The growing young man, Rimaldo, was one of the chosen messengers.
Just graduating from his knight school this wasn't exactly the assignment he was hoping for.
Upset and still yet willing, young Rimaldo took up the task and begat his ride for Hanley, unknowing that he would be the one to save us all from the clutches of Lord Guaph.
