I was curious if Reno an Rude died? I was watching it earlier and I realized that it looked like they were still holding their bombs when they went off... I don't know some explanation would be awesome : )

No, you see them standing with Rufus later, so they obviously dropped them and ran.

Though starting and getting the helicopter out of there in such a short time period is certainly questionable

Oh yah... lol forgot about the part with them standing by Rufus... Anyways, what a relief! I was hoping they wouldn't kill off the comic relief

I think it makes more sense in advent children complete since the helicopter is being piloted by Tseng and is hovering about above them

Square Enix would never kill off reno and rude, they are too funny to kill off

alot of people seem to forget that reno killed thousands of innocent people in ff7, he is in fact, a murderer.

He is the one that pressed the button to drop the plate on sector 7. Reno is a BAD guy.

Weather square enix decided to give him a comdeic relief role in advent children is after the fact, they decided to have him murder thousands of people. including women and children.

All the Turks were bad but they were following orders. You don't know what would happened to them if they refused. Almost everyone in FF7 was responsible for someone dying, including the heros.
They are quite comic in Crisis Core too.
