Tidus vs Cloud is no debate, Cloud would, as my friend Ishy said, maul him.
However, if it were Auron vs Cloud, I am not so sure who would win that, because both are collossal badasses and that fight would at least be semi-interesting. Cloud would probably still win, but it would be a little more enjoyable to watch. -------------------  Warning: Not for the faint of heart.

Tidus isn't much of a warrior so Cloud will win for sure and yeah Auron against Cloud would be good to watch.

Which, considering the huge amount of what should have been fatal wounds Cloud's received...he'd probably be alright if that happened. I mean seriously, think about it.
In the game, he was mowed over by Sephiroth at the Nibel Reactor-before he received Mako treatment/Jenova cell injection which makes it even more amazing that he survived. In AC, he got stabbed by Sephiroth again, and then shot in the back (some could argue that he technically died and was brought back by Aerith, but the fact remains that he's still alive.) Now if we throw Chaos into this, then I think Vincent could probably take Cloud. ------------------- The Story's Not Over Yet...  ...So click the banner and read *_*

Cloud would pwn Tidus anytime and anywhere. You compare a SOLDIER-level warrior to a teenage boy that got thrust into an alternate world and managed to learn out to swing a sword. Pretty easy to do the math there. I personally couldn't stand Tidus at all in FFX so I'd still root for Cloud even if they were evenly matched.
Something I'd like to see: Cloud v. Weiss, since the one between him and Rosso the Crimson was rather short-lived. >>; | |

Cloud would not only beat Tidus, he's beat every single person in his pathetic party. (Except Auron would probably give him a good run for his money)

wow...what a pointlessly obvious thread....nonetheless cloud would win of course, i actually didnt even need to answer that...Tidus would just try to outshine cloud with his overally colorful apparel. Then challenge him to a blitzball match where cloud would just break through the water ball with his sword as he did in Advent children, leaving tidus drowned, yuna crying, and auron drinking to it all!!
