	I had the original game of Oblivion. I gave the CD to my friend in order that he may play it for a while, which he never did. On the other hand, I cracked the game on my pc so I would be able to play while he had the cd. By accident, I tried to update the game uses the newest patch, and it crashes; my guess is because it was cracked. I then got the cd back, even after installing it, it continued to crash. Any guess onto why this is? Thanks for helping.

Because, with a cracked version, it replaces the exe file. So you would need to have the original exe file to make it work. Aero

	When does it crash? At the very start, after the loading screen, the main menu, when you first load your character, seemingly randomly...?

	I updated to a newer patch and it still doesn't seem to work. I tried almost everything. The problem started after I cracked the game, and when I got my original back, I accidentally tried to update the game with the crack; this caused the game to crash. The game doesn't even load to the menu, but crashes after the black screen tries to appear. Someone suggested deleting old registry files, but I don't know what the hell to do. Any help will be highly appreciated.
