Hey boys and gals! Im neew to this forum lookin for some friendly ppl to help me out...

I really want to make a dark elf that can get me throuout the game and do the guilds, not including mages. im not sue how to make him well balanced or what skills i should use. i would love to be able to heal myself, and use a few spells, but i mostly want to fight with my blADE. if some1 could give me a build that i could use and a strategy to it, i can get a general idea and go from their...

that should work fairly well for a blade oriented general adventurer

Well, if you want to barrel in there, with a few spells, this is a setout I use

Warrior Sign

Blade
Block
Heavy Armour
Destruction
Restoration
Armourer
Security

This lineup will get you through the guild no probs, sneak isnt really needed as it levels up really quickly once you get Dark brotherhood *blank* or do mission for the thieves guild

Hmmmm, alrighty. I think im gonna take admante's skills and exchange heavy armor for light armor. Should i maybe make a custom class to go alonng with it or just stick to the warrior? If a custom class, what should i use? Thanks for the suggestion guys!

P.S a custom class fills in for the sign u are born under, correct? Im not to sure...

Also, where should i start off in the game? the main quest, the arena, dark brotherhood?

looks pretty good to me and I would recommend exploring and leveling up for a bit before any guild work. First guild I'd recommend for the character though would probably be the fighter's guild or the arena.

is it completely necessary to use a shield? cuz i could just use that as a minor skill and put somethin else in theer as a replacement...

What should i use as favored attributes? Is sneak a good replacement?

you don't need a shield but blocking is very useful. I frequently use block as a major skill even without a shield though it is up to you and sneak is suitable though I might recommend alchemy so you can make your potions, or armorer so you can repair your equipment on your own.

alright, but may i ask why not strenghth or w/e its called?

simply the fact that strength is (IMHO) mostly irrelevant, as the game is fairly easy (except one person - Umbra)

Well i strongly recommend strength and agility. It's awesome to be in bravil and jumping from roof to roof..i even got out of the city Being INSIDE the city without the paint brush glitch(i don't know if that glitch works on pc)
