Hey guys, I am known as teh_swordmaster. I bought this game on PC a couple of months ago, I don't play it often but I really like this game and with all the mods I've heard about this would probably be the best place to ask about them.

Well, I'm Nicholas Trousers and I'm 15. I'm in the 9th grade and play the trumpet and also participate in the Winter drum line. In my spare time I enjoy playing video games, relaxing, and hanging out with friends.

I'm a pretty big Oblivion newbie. I just got the game as a late birthday gift from my grandma. I still haven't made my character yet but I plan on doing it sometime soon, maybe after this post. Who knows?

I'll probably play as some kind of warrior but I don't have any idea on what race I'll play as. Suggestions and helpful advice is all ways appreciated too, so feel free to drop me a PM.

I'm also new to the Neoseeker community and so far I'm enjoying it. Most of what I have read in various boards on the forums have some very intelligent posts. I can't wait to get to know some of the community.

i got oblivion when it was stil pretty new and completed it in like 3 months time...haha pathetic

anyway now i have it on ps3 as well plus the expansion pack shivering isles so i'd like to help and ask stuff on here..

I'm from the UK and I'm fairly new to Oblivion - I only upgraded from a PS2 to a PS3 a few weeks ago and the bloke and I bought one game each. He got Call of Duty 4, I got Oblivion. Not that he's had much chance to play his game, because I've been hogging the console playing Oblivion ever since - to say this game rocks would be an understatement.

Was an avid gamer once, but now in my late twenties, real life takes up more time… I still play games whenever I can though; I’ll never outgrow them, despite what my mother used to say *chuckles*
I modded up Morrowind a lot and played the game to death many times. Oblivion, I played, put on a shelf, and then recaptured (probably to finally complete all 200+ quests (and yes there are NOT 2000 like advertised, just count for yourself) and to more or less ‘break’ the game. (but in fun ways ).

One day soon I’m going to sell my soul for a god-powerful PC so I can play Supreme Commander on highest resolution but for now, my setup works just fine. Want to know anything else, just ask. Peace.

Hey everyone! I got Oblivion just yesterday and am loving it...I used to play Morrowind(though I never posted much on the forum much) and Daggerfall a little as a kid, so I have quite a bit of experience with TES series so far. I noticed the opening bit was much longer than Morrowind's and more along the lines of Daggerfall's, which I personally didn't like, but meh.

I'm currently in Chorrol, trying to decide whether I should go with the main quest for a while or go ahead and start off on my own...any opinions on this matter? I've already hooked up with the Mage's Guild...
