I didn't know where to put this since the forum search is disabled and it isn't worth the time to look up a subject fitting this question manually so here it goes:
I have more than 100 grand of gold in the game. I have the Xbox 360 version of the game. I commited a few crimes. I murdered a few people --- well mostly guards, actually, and I have the amount needed to pay off the crimes but the option for paying a fine doesn't come up.
I now have just little over 5000 gold in bounty. The last time a guard stopped to be, I had the options to resist arrest or go to jail. I couldn't go to jail cause I can't risk all what is worth getting out of jail. If I resist arrest, more bounty will come up and I don't want to fight with the guards, but they chase me around and piss me off so if I hit back, bounty will go up and I can get myself unlimited gold from that orc merchant in Kvatch, but it's not worth it.
Now, I already have enough problems on my back...
For example, the one I mentioned above.
Another one that I really need to resolve includes a quest in which I've agreed to do for this orc chick in the Bravil Mages Guild involving her sleeping friend --- the Hentier dude.
I don't want to do that one right away since I don't like games involving puzzles, traps, logic, or anything else that pisses me off and includes shit that will trick me if I fall into it's hands.
The problem is that I aquried the Dreamworld Amulet from her. I'm still on the quest. I can't sleep becuse of this amulet. This is what happens:
I now can level up but since the game levels up only while sleeping, well...
I unequipp the amulet but when I try to sleep, no matter how far or close I am to that dumbass, I fall into the dreamworld. I can't drop the amulet since it's a quest item.
Well, what do I do???
How do I drop the amulet and sleep without falling into the dreamworld?
I can't complete this quest. This game is fairly easy since killing is easy. I beat the arena matches in less than half a day. I go against an opponent, shoot some destruction magic at him/her/it to weaken him/her/it before he/she/it comes face to face with me, which I just slash him/her/it a bit with my most powerful weapon --- not a magic item cause they need recharging that costs gold...
Ahh I'll try to cook something up but in the meanwhile, someone help me with this please!

wrong thread and wrong place my friend..since you are xbox 360 player we can't answer all of your questions since we are PC players..also if you could...copy & paste what you have placed in here and create a new thread, that way I can move it straight into the 360 forum for you...either that or you go to the 360 forum now and paste the info in there

Hi I am new to this forum and the forum environment in general.
I have been reading for a couple of days, it's great to see so many people with similar interests.
I am 27 living in the south of the UK. I love RPG's and have played many across a variety of platforms. For some reason I like console RPG's and the more traditional RPG's all the same. I have been addicted to Oblivion for some time now, it's great. I really like Morrowind also, I have noticed a lot of debat regarding which is the better. Personally I think they are both great with their own strenghts.
I have progressed to about level 25 as a Mage so far in Oblivion, which has taken some time due to the fact I keep restarting with another character type. I am by no means any sort of expert but I have played for some time. I would love to help answer any questions for new mage questers if I can.
I am looking forward to speaking to like minded people, and would like to thank people for the advice and info I have picked up from reading through the threads.

Hi - I played Morrowind to death. Loved it apart from those pesky flying things!
Oblivion is awesome. The first time I started it up I couldn't believe my eyes!! The graphics are sooooo good. Haven't played it for a while now, but I'm thinkin of starting a whole new adventure...

Greetings, I am only an occasional gamer but that may change after getting into the world of Oblivion. At first I didn't think much of it till I spent a little tme with it. I am really impressed with this game. Just bought a Macbook Pro C2D and the graphics are impressive. I can't get over using the 3rd person mode when I was trotting across a wooden swing bridge on my painted horse watching the waterfall with Brother Martin and that other guy, all of us on horses. And the view controls are so easy. A click on the mouse scroll wheel brings me to 1st person immediately, or I can zoom in or out in 3rd person using the scroll wheel. Meanwhile I am using Martin and his buddy to jump in and fight most of my fights, taking him everywhere but where he is supposed to go so I can get as many goodies as I can from different places. A lot of times they kill the foe before I even draw my sword. I just strip the slain and cash in at Imperial city. Is this a good idea for a newbie like me?
