ok im trying to get recomendation from this lizard woman ><
she wants me to get her mage staff back from this shopkeeper, she gave me some scrolls to make him freindlyer towards me but i used all 3 and he still wont sell me it.
sooo i waited until midnite broke in and he was there so i killed him and took his key, found the staff in the basement haha i shouts but then as soon as i leave im proptly arrested and thrown in the nick ><

any help would be greatly recieved

Use a scroll on his wife and then you might have to bribe her till her disposition is about 70 and she will tell you how to get the key. That's how I did it and since you have the key, opening the door isn't technically tresspassing, despite the red door icon.

After you complete that mission, talk to the alchemist the the argonian was trying to help and select Rumors as the subj. and something kind of funny might happen. I don't know, depends on your kind of humor.

Look, only thing u need to do is that u use the spell u got from the mage who gave u the quest. I used it first on the guy but he dint tell anything then i used it on the woman and she told where it was.
Pick the lock to the door on 2nd floor take the key in the desk and use it to the basement, whoops! Somwhere there is the magic thing ..

I still had to bribe the wife. Proabably because I'm an Argonian and my Personality was only 30 or 32. I wouldn't even bother with the man himself, he won't tell you anything anyway.

I just picked the lock to his basement and stole the damn staff. hehe! make sure noone sees you though and you'll get away with it.

I used speechcraft to max out the disposition, then used only one scroll on him.
He then sold me the staff for 200 gp.

you guys should really figure out the mini game to max out the shop keepers disposition to you. From the 4 choices you have in the circle (joke boast admire and coerce) two will have positive outcomes and two will have negative outcomes. Find out which ones they are w/ the small wedge, and try to always use the smallest wedge the negative traits first. Once you figure the game out you can get any person to like you very easily.
