I have a problem.
I'm a mage, and I can't get rid of some invisible sword.

Possible very minor spoilers below...





I went to some ruin outside of Skargard (I don't recall the spelling)--it was not far outside the town, and glowed orange. I "activated" it and accepted the weapon and armor because I wanted to sell it. Anyway, I couldn't "unequip" the sword so I cast Dispel on self. The armor disappeared, and so did the sword. But when I tried to equip my regular blade I received a "cannot unequip this sword" message, just as I had with the magical blade. The magical blade and armor I had received from the rune do not show on my inventory. I did have a spell efficiency of 88% with those magical items, but having dispelled them, I'm back to 100%.

However, I still have the sword, I can hear it when I press the left mouse button, and I can't put it away with "F". It's really annoying, I can't use any other weapon now! Plus, I bet NPCs are reacting to it.

I have slept and prayed at altars to see if I could get rid of it, no luck.

Anyone hear about this? I think it's a bug...

i have had this problem ages ago, i cant quite remember how i fixed it, the problem is that you have been given a summoned sword n armor, have you summoned some sword n armour in its stead and allowed them to disipate?
