I finaly have the money to buy a house 15,000 i was wondering how much houses cost in certain areas... i only know of the 10,000 one in bruma and the little shack outside the imperial city costing a mere 2,000......

which house should i spend me money on? And if anyone has pictures of the houses interia that would be helpful.. or a quick description of how big it is, what its like and so on......

The skingrad house it actually pretty big. 3 floors plus a basement. You can store quite a bit in it. However you have no furnishings until you buy those as well.

Probably the house that is the best value for money is the one in Anvil you have to do a quest for. It costs you 5000, and it comes fully furnished after doing the quest. I can't remember exact names, but the quest starter is in the Tavern in Anvil. Ask around, and people should direct you to him (the thing about the house first comes up when asking for rumours).
The best house is the Skingrad one though. It's 25000 just to buy, so it's pricey. Then there is the cost of the upgrades on top of that. It will cost you around 70000 to buy it and have it fully furnished.

i have skingrad and burma houses fully furnished, probaly wasted 100,000 septim's, nice houses also the maid, i read about a mod that makes it so you can buy a castle either near bruma or skingrad not sure but you it costs 100,000 g's also the payment for the 6 employees that run the castle ( not sure how many dimes )has a smithery, alchemdic lab, and a back door out from the basement incase of assassins. ooohhh nice. but is mod ill wait til i beat the game without cheating.

A maid? how do you get one of them? i've got the skingrad house fully furnished, is she in the burma one or is it a mod?

She's in the shop where you buy furniture for the skingrad house. Talk to her and she'll ask about working for you. Costs 150gp. Not bad when the house cost a little bit more than that.
