I was going to download a mod for Oblivion,I was pretty clumpsy and put some stuff in the wrong folders, so every time I try to start up the game, it says that I have to uninstall the game and install it again to play it. So my big question is!? Can i somehowe save my belowed saved games so I don't have to play the game all over again.
Maybe I can transfer the savings on a USB memory and uninstall the game and install it and then put the saved games in the right folder...please help me with this problem.

I have tried that last thing...and it wont work..do'h! But I will try the thing with the USB

You don't need to use a USB drive, you can just copy the saves over to anywhere but the Oblivion folders and then paste them back after reinstalling.

are u sure?...so you mean that i can transfer the saves to "My Documents" and they will stay alive!!??

Yes, as long as it's not in the Oblivion folder.

I uninstalled the game, and reinstalled it. The saved games were still there.

most games don't delete save games on unistall, or give the option to delete them if you want, I dunno what oblivion does but I would hope the latter.

When I reinstalled they were still there, or it might have given me the option, but they stay. I'm pretty sure.
