2 quests, 2 questions
|
Quest 1: curing vampirism. I've given the witch the soul gems, and she wanted ingredients. So I gave her garlic and vampire dust or whatever and apparently she still needs bloodgrass, according to the quest text. I've also killed the main vampire dude as well as got the blood of the Argonian and given that to her. But now when I visit the witch she first says something about needing all the ingredients, and then that the potion takes time to create. I can't click on anything else like 'give her the bloodgrass' or anything, and she doesn't say anything else either. And then immediatly afterwards she pulls out a fricking sword and attacks me and throws spells at me and stuff. What the hell..?
Quest 2: the countess' ball I'm all dressed up in fancy clothes (blue outfit and blue suede shoes - I also tried a red velvet outfit and gold trimmed shoes), but I can't get into the dinner party to cast Sanguine's spell. How do I do it?
Thanks.

Ive heard of the vampireism glitch alot but if youve done all of the quest anyway you could just do the code cure (not sure what it is)

A nice suite of armor will work as good as nice clothing.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I have done some research, and apparently the vampire cure quest requires that you hand in the ingredients in exactly the right order, or it will not work. Thanks Bethesda - absolutely no indication of this anywhere in the quest, so now I'm screwed.
As for the guard letting me in, I have worn velvet brocades, suede shoes, gold-trimmed shoes, etc, as well as my full set of dragon armour, and he still won't let me in.
But now that I have the dragon armour, maybe I'll forget about the quests and just kill everyone I see...

For the first one, did you actually have 5 bloodgrass in your inventory when you offered it to her, I think you need 5, if you spend too long in her house she will attack you, I believe that is what happens anyways.
For the Sangurine quest I went in full (custom enchanted)deadric armour and the bodyguard let me pass, so I dunno, however you have to be a huge distance away from the room and have no one looking at you, as well as hitting everyone in the room to get the optimum method of completing the quest, and the stark relatity spell will make you nude as well as all the guests, all your equipment is moved to a chest near Sangurines shrine and he will comment on the fact that you needed to lighten up as well as the countess. =P
I opened the door, waited for all the guards to leave and casted the spell from the otherside of the main hall into the dinner hall, toke 2 casts in different places to get every guest however and the range of the spell, is almost impossible to avoid it yourself

Answers Cool, thanks dude. I'll try the Daedric armour thing. As for the witch, I did have the 5 bloodgrass but there was no option to give it to her like the other ingredients. Bug maybe? Anyway, now I have no way to get the vampire cure so I'll just make another character I think. A great pity.

Ive heard of the vampireism glitch alot but if youve done all of the quest anyway you could just do the code cure (not sure what it is) As suggested, use the console command . I do not know it either, however there should be information around about it, someone else on these forums may know of it. There is also a mod that creates a chest with the cure, however these two methods do remove the infinite septim glitch where you can keep getting 2500 gold from the count of skingrad by going to the same option over and over whilst talking to him.
