Other than summoning, where can i fight atronachs, i know fire ones hang around oblivion gates but i havent seen storm ones yet ive seen frost ones but only in a quest id like to start getting the ingrediants from them. (frost salts, fires salts, and umm... void salts? w/e i like the effects they have and would like to get my alchemy up quite a bit)

they all hang out in oblivion...except maybe the frost dudes, i dont see them lasting all that long in an oblivion gate, and i cant remember if i fought one there or not.

I believe Atronachs share spawns with scamp, level based however. so based on your level, go to an area where you get alot of scamps and you will get atronachs instead. Some places and quests however may have them independant of level. I believe you get Stonted(sp) scamps level 1~4, scamp 4~9 and then flame Atronachs 10~?, Storm 16+, Frost 21+. That is what I believe anyways, I am not certain on the levels in the end ^^;. Frost are rare until you hit the 40s I think however, and you still get storms next to them so... probably come across them more often on higher difficulty ratings ^^;;.
