Hi, I am working on acquiring the ingredients for the vampire cure and the last item I need is the blood of an Argonian.

What is the best way of obtaining this. If I stab someone they want to fight or guards come and arrest me. Is there a place where there are bandit Argonians or something so I don't have to kill someone in town for his or her blood?

Or is there a way to do it without anyone noticing?

I think all you have to do is find a sleeping Argonian.

First off you dont have to kill them! Go find one at one of the many daedric shrines. Make REALLY good friends with him. stab him! Then hold block and talk to him. If he likes you enough he will accept your surrender and not fight you. Worst case, youll get a bounty of 40 gold for the assault.

theres a cave near the river/lake north of the witches hut. it doesnt have any monsters in it. except an npc argonian thats a quest giver to my knowledge.

Head to fort homestead and massacre the bandits (near pells gate), Fort Alessia's full of bandits too (next to the longest bridge in the game), and Doznot cave (imperial city side of the bridge to weye), and infested mine (close to hammerfell border), and any camp.
There are countless places to find an argonian mixed in with the rabble, just hit the bugger once with your special knife and then rend 'em down.
No bounty, no strings, just an all out massacre.

I walked up to the Argonian near my house at the Imperial City (the area outside the main walls) and just stabbed him quickly, then ran to my horse (parked down the road) and rode off.
I have been to the Imperial City since then and spoken to guards, and nothing happened.
So I'd recommend that if nothing else works for you.

Oh, and without giving anything away, here's a tip: when you hand in the ingredients to the witch, make sure you give them in the right order. I don't know what the right order is, but I guess it's how it appears on her list.
I didn't do it right and now I am a vampire permanently. It sucks. Pun not intended.

Argonian Blood can also be great to get from a certain dark brotherhood side-quest that you are asked to kill a certain shadow scale that forgeto his responsibilities and now requires being killed =P.

fastest way to solve this is to open up your consol, while in your consol click on a argonian. Then type KILL and he/she will die. then wen u got wat u wanted click on the dead argonian again and type RESURRECT. and they will get up like nothing happend and you wont even get a bounty on your head. anndd everyone is happy

No, That wouldn't work. Your "trick" sucks. You just spam with it as it's the solution to everything. You actually need to stab an argonian to get the blood.

Follow the shoreline north from Bravil. You will find "Veyond cave". Inside you will be attacked by Argonian tribesman throughout the entire cave. I've found and cleared almost 300 places and this is the only place I've come across them. Strangest part is that they aren't mentioned in the strategy guide under creatures or human enemies.
