When i go to the Lustratorium in the Arcane University the seller says: "When you come across some Rare Ingriedients, please tell me." (i allready gave Nirnroot)..
What other Rare Ingridients are there?

I've been playing for 268 hours and have only found 3 "human hearts". If that doesn't make it a rare ingrediant, I don't know what does. Properties = restore health/shock shield/damage magika/silence. Maybe "Herrada" too.

Human flesh will be another rare one. I've never found any. I'm sure I could make a 1360 gold potion with it. It's that rare. But careful having human parts, A poster circulated by the Imperial guards said they would execute anyone having the parts. I think that was the gist of what they said .... or that they may remove some of your parts, whatever, it won't be pleasant.

I just went and got arrested in Imperial city carrying 2 human hearts. Nothing happened. They even gave them back to me when I got out.

Watermelon Vine and Wheat Stalk are the rarest ingredients at a game-count of 10 and 16 respectively...i suppose they regenerate though.

The cairn bolete and the goldenrod are the hardest to harvest, having the lowest percent chance of success at 33%.

The ingredients found on dead enemies can be very rare, and you should hang on to them until you become the arch-mage...then you can replicate them as long as you have at least 1 of them.

I found Ambrosia and some other ingredient on a desk in the Mage's Guild in Chorrel or Skingrad. Both ingredients only had one property, Restore Health and Restore Magicka. I have never found another sample or any place to harvest them from. I duped both of them.

Anyone else found a pitcher plant they cannot harvest? I've tried harvesting these things MANY times and have never gotten anything out of them. What do they produce, if anything?

Also, where the heck do you get watermelon vine?

watermelon vines appear in fenced-in farms. and i cant harvest the pitcher plant either.

i think there is the watermelon vines at the "sins of the father" farmhouse, the witches farm for "cure for vampirism", and at border watch, if i remember correctly. those are the only ones i have found.

I've tried harvesting them several times, but they never produce anything. I even saved my game before trying and reloaded it several times. Have any of you been able to harvest these? (I also have alchemy skill of 100)

What cave outside leyawiin are they (I couldn't find them)? Have you tried to fortify your luck to 100 before harvesting?

Pitcher plant. No one has ever harvested it, and no one sells it (as far as I can find out) and apparently has no properties according to what is claimed to be a complete plant list.

There is a mod out there that makes it harvestable ... though what properties they gave the plant, who knows. Anyone with the game complete guide got anything on it?

.... and replicate? That a euphemism for cheat? ;¬)

There are dozens of them around the "County Leyawiin" map name ... if you want to try.
