When I use a sigil stone that does some kind of elemental damage, it gives my sword a "x pts of frost damage on strike" or something of that nature. If I want to make my own enchantment, I end up with something along the lines of "x pts of frost damage for 1 second".

Is there a way to get the self-made enchantments to do damage on strike rather than for 1 second? It doesn't make a great deal of game play difference, but I know if I take down a badguy with a weapon that has an on strike enchantment, it makes my enemy fly half-way across the room, and I kind of like that effect. It doesn't do this with the 'damage for 1 second' enchantment.

In case it matters, I'm playing the xbox 360 version of the game.

I do not think there is a way around this to be honest with you. And there is an ever so slight difference (hard to notice but with 1 second the health runs down over a second, without that it is instantly taken down).

Actually I have a 1 second damage on my sword also and it always makes them fly accross the room. They do fly farther though if theres more damage.

if u want to enchant urself got to the AU (arcane university) then u can enchant urself only not on already enchanted items
