Notebook

I am looking at a Dell notebook, and I noticed that the E1705 was a great pc to play Oblivion. I have read in the forums at the Morrowind site that this laptop plays Oblivion quite well. Here are the specs:

-Intel core Duo processor 2ghz, 2b cache, 667mhz FBS
-Windows XP Media Center
-1 Gig Dual Channel DDR2 667mhz Ram
-80 Gig SATA 7200 RPM Hard Drive
-24x CD Burner/DVD Combo
-256mb NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS
-Integrated Sound Blaster® Audigy™ HD Software Edition

Will these specs be able to play Oblivion with graphics turned up, but not too high?

Thanks in advance.

re: Notebook

that processor is going to drop the ball.

Medium graphics, probably stutter a bit too.

re: Notebook

Do the special "GO" graphics cards put out any different specs than say the desktop version of the same card?

re: Notebook

i dont think they are as good as the desktop versions...i could be wrong, but the general rule is that laptops forsake some performance in lieu of the portability factor.
