Hi, i've been playing oblivion for 60 hrs, but im still having some doubts.

My strenght and intelligece are red (they`re being drained or sumthing) how can i get rid of this, i tought it was an enchanted weapon or armor, but i dropped everything and i realized the that wasnt the problem, some people told me to go and pray at an altar, but i cant, i receive a message that sais "Repent your crimes wicked one", I cant prayy! and i dont know how to increase my fame and decrease my infamy to be able to do it.

And i have another question, i like enchanting items and using feather on them, i can have a 50 pts feather (constant event) i use Grand Soul Gems. The thing is that i want to know if i can enchant feather on more than 50 pts, with azuras star o black soul gems.

50 pt feather is the highest you can get permanently, spells can make it higher for short periods of time.

To get your fame higher do one of these or all of these as you see fit. Kill bandits. Close Oblivion gates. Complete Fighters Guild Quests. Complete Mages Guild Quests. And probably complete random quests that involve some form of kindness.

It is possible to get more than 50 feather through Sigil Stone, but apart from that I dont think so.

And no, i have no bounty and i cant still do it, ill try shutting some doors, thanks... and another quick question, How is INFAMY raised?? in the thieves guild and dark brotherhood??

Your infamy mainly goes up from commiting crimes and doing certian missions like the DB and TG lines. Fame is pretty easy to gain by doing "good" missions. The Arena would be a good place to get some fame. Also fighters and mages guids will help as well.

Btw.. Ive found that feather is only so helpfull. Boosting strength can be alot more usefull if its carrying capacity your looking for. Use sigil stones (with fortify str enchants) to creat a strength boosting set of armor and youll never get overencumbered again. One of my characters has over 200 str and can carry around 1000lbs worth of crap. Also having higher strength means you can run faster while carrying the same amount (a 500lb capacity character carring 300lbs will run much slower than a 1000lb capacity character carring the same stuff). Something to consider.

Sigil Stone enchantments will ALWYAS be better than anything you can get from a grand soulgem/azuras star enchantment. The trick you can use to choose what Sigil you get is a little tedius but works like a charm. When you first click the sigil stone, IMMEDIATELY save your game. wait a second for it to disappear and then check your inventory. If it isnt the one you want, just reload the game and try again. Make sure to save right after you click the sigil and BEFORE it disappears (theres a lag time from when you click to grab and when it appears in your inventory).

Cool, im gonna do that with the sigil stones, and about feather... i think feather is better when using heavy armor, because if u use feather ur things aretn going to weight that much, and ull be able to move faster..

u don't neccesary need to save AFTER you CLICK the sigil stone......
just save it when ur about to get it...
also yeah BEFORE it appears in ur inventory!

No no the point is to make it so you have fewer things to do after you load the game. It may take quite a few tries and having to click each time you load to grab the stone.. and then wait for the damn thing to disappear and go into your inventory makes for alot of boring staring at a screen thinking "jesus this is taking forever". Its a time saver as most people have familys and lives to live. etc etc..

I'm constantly having problems with my infamy being higher than my fame. One of my characters has spent 7645 in jail for murdering guards, stealing and killing some townsfolk. I have over 1000 infamy, and very low fame. when my character gets red numbers in his stats, I have no choice but to leave them red and lowered. Every once in a while I'll find a special shrine in the wilderness that will fix all of them for u, but u can only use each of the shrines once in the wilderness.

You could try putting stuff down.

And saying no to that extra cookie. Cookies are a sometimes food.

Create a spell that gives you +100 strength for a short period of time. That way you can pick up more stuff and as soon as you get out of the dungeon you can fast travel to a town, cast it again and go sell the loot. Saves running back and forth to get everything. Also casting beast of burden, pack mule, lighten load. These spells work together so you get the effects of all 3 at the same time.
