Hello everyone, I've been looking online for quite some time about the problem some of us have been having, and now know its not just me. The only problem is, no other website that I've looked at, has a solution to this problem for the Xbox 360. The problem is this: After the quest where you get Jakben the vampires boots, I bring them back to the Grey Fox, and complete the quest.. only problem is, no window comes up asking me to get 1000 gold worth of fenced items. I have 2300 so far, I've left my game on for 2-3 hours (in real life) and no popup. I even reloaded a past save which was at the beginning of the quests you do for the Grey Fox. Did them allll over again. Same thing happened. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Go somewhere? Do something? Because I obviously cant put in a setcmd or whatever to just give me the quest. In this situation, Xbox 360 sucks with Glitches I hope someone has a solution.. I've ran out of ideas.

Edit: I did not kill Jakben until he crept up on me while I was resting. I did the quest exactly as it was intended to be done. (I'm adding this because I've read on simpler occasions that that was the problem, and that is not the situation here.)

This same thing happened to me, but I was able to fix it with the setstage command. To be honest, being on 360, I think you're screwed.

Sadly I think your right. Still working on it, can't seem to fix it. My first character I made, I was able to do all the guilds without a problem, second time around doing the Thieves guild tho, this happened. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be glad to hear them.

Surely bethesda must have an answer for stuff like this. At the very least, you can rub it in what a piss-poor job they did of bugchecking this game before it was released.
