I have been suspenden from the mages guild and I have to collect 20 Dragon's tongues and 20 Redwort flower. where can I find it????

Why can't you just go back to an old save before you were suspended? But if you can't, sorry I'm not sure where you can find these items. I'm guessing that the dragon's tongues are flowers or plants that you forage/pick, like some of the other alchemy items.

they are both flowers to pick.. but where?

According to UESP:

Dragon's Tongue can be found along the Gold Road between Skingrad and the Imperial City, as well as east of Bravil.

Redwort Flowers are a bit rarer, but can be found east of Niben Bay.

Yeah, I think that's part of the point. The Mages' Guild is working hard to redeem their image, so when they have to deal with misbehaving members, they're not going to make the task easy.

See, Daedra Hearts and Vampire Dust would be much easier for me. All I have to do is locate a few vampire lairs, and go through a few Oblivion Gates. But for the flowers? Those are harder to actually spot.

yeah, i was suspended from mages guild becuase i got on a black horse a mage owned..I THOUGHT IT WAS *MY* BLACK HORSE, omg

were u arch mage already?, btw just go to the lobby steal a key (since u cant get any more suspended) then get out, and look for s tiny garden, then IF u are arch-mage u can clone the dragon tongue

If you have the frostcrag spire then you can find both the wedwort flower and and dragon toung their.
Once you have boath use the alternate duplicating trick to dupe it(the one the patch dident fix)

u need to go to ur last save b4 u got kicked cause i started in the mages guild which helped my no end in the rest of the game aspcially when it cameto the gates of oblivion.if u do all the mages guild stuff ull bcome the arch mage

Try at the Mages Guild in Anvil, Felen Relas has one or two of both... and wait about 3-4 days and then ask him again.
Also in anvil, there is a shop you might have visited before, Lelles' Quality Merchandise. He has a Redwort flower.

Just outside Leawiin, The North East gate, you will find 4 Dragons tongue flowers, there will be a Oblivion Gate near it too. ( walk in a straight line from the north gate untill you reach the obliovion gate, then turn 90 degress right and walk up to a the second rock there you'll find the yellow flower you're looking for!) remember to mark the spot, cause you can harvest the flower 3-4 days later (it's like santa, he's never coming when you're watching so go to the imperial city instead) or go on to the Dark Fathom cave ( if you don't know the location try searching oblivion map on google, but it's not far from where you standing)

Standing just outside the cave walk south southwest. Not far from there there will be a tree theres surrounded by some stuff'n'bluff including the Redwortflowers.

In the Imperial City's Market District, where the only shop I could find the flowers in where "The Gilded Carafe".

I now have 9 Dragon's Tongue and 10 Redwort Flowers..

I was trying to talk to someone behind the counter, and I accidentally picked something up on the counter. Can you say lame? I would have just went back to previous save, but i walked outside, it auto saved, and then told me I was suspended. My previous real save was like 2 hrs play time before that, because I didn't do anything very important. I think this quest is ridiculous.
