Reverse Pickpocketing

I heard somewhere that you can give other people items (I hear its how you get them to eat poison apples) in the pickpocketing screen. However, after I hit the L button to switch inventories and select an item, it wont let me give the other person an item. Have I been wronged, or is there some way to work around that?

I wanna sneak the blackwood ring of silence on a bunch of people and watch them go up in flames.

re: Reverse Pickpocketing

They told you you can give them poisoned apples and yet you try a ring?

Apparently you can't give them items that weigh anything. So you have 2 choices; an item that has absolutely no weight, or a poisoned apple.

you can only give other people items that weigh nothing like poison apples (go to fort farragut, look in a barrel in the heart of it, there are lots of poison apples yum)
you can also place garlic (useful for getting rid of vampires) and there are some more items that weigh nothing but who would want to plant a black shirt on their enemy unless they had tragic fashion sense. the thing with the apples is you have to wait a while for the poison to take effect but it doesnt count as muder in the games eyes or laws eyes so you are free, good way of doing it but not nearly as fun as bursting in there and going puree on them

re: Reverse Pickpocketing

Maybe you should edit the ring in TES construction set and make it weigh nothing. Or just set him on fire the normal way.
