Well, I'm certain the video card and the amount of RAM is enough to play smoothly, not too sure on the proccessor, I don't know how AMD ones go.

space for personal media drive is basically just a space for a personal media drive

HP sell a personal media drive seperately to a whole desktop and this is more or less an external hard drive that you can fit into your PC.

TV tuner with remote is where you can hook up your TV to your PC and watch TV through your PC, record it etc. It does mean messing around with it a lot but if you're someone that has Sky and not Sky plus and so on then it is the easier answer to record tv

    and the processor is fine

  • AMD Athlon 64 X2 Processor 5200+

This is the machines processor, an AMD Athlon 64 X2. I believe the X2 on AMDs refers to the processor as being Dual Core. AMDs preformance wise are quite good, however I have heard that one or two of the AMD dual cores suffer from driver issues. Hopefully AMD should have ironed out those problems by now tho. Oblivion can use dual cores however it's rather stupid on detecting them in the way that it needs an .ini file edit to activate it. 64 refers to the bit type of the processor, AMD 64s are actually 64/32 since they can operate in either mode, oblivion only comes in 32 bit I do believe however. As time goes on more games will start to use 64 bit but since 32 bit is kind of limited to 4GB of RAM but won't bore you with the details on that one.

    2 GB DDR2 computer memory

this is the size of your RAM, 2GB is starting to become the current standard, it's good enough for oblivion for sure. DD2 is the standard type of transmission for DIMM slot RAM, DD2 is quite impressive on speed.

    space for Personal Media Drive

This just refers to external storage I do believe...

Video: 512 MB to 1280 MB ATI Radeon X1650

This is your graphics card, I don't believe the 1280MB bit for a second however, 1024MB wouldn't surprise me however. 512MB is the current standard I believe for graphics card but it would not surprise me if it moves up to 1GB soon. The graphics card model isn't too bad either, probably just above the average I would guess. Not top of the range but not as low as average.

    TV-tuner with Media Center remote

this refers to having an extension port that gives you the ability to hook some television connections into a computer, however you might find that some television connections will be un-supported, s-cart for example is generally not found on a TV-card, s-video and composite generally are however.

This is nice if you wanna record things on to your computer or want to use your monitor to display things that would go through a TV connection.

As for being worth 839 euro's... I'd say you were possibly actually getting a bit of a bargin if you get such a system. tho maybe I am slightly out of touch with current hardware I believe the system here would be slightly above average for a slightly below average price... hee.

yeah but I know about the numbers, how about the version of Radeon is it a good brand or not?
