hey guys, ive been thinkin about upgrading to Vista, and i was just wondering if anyone here has any experience with Vista, like if Oblivion will run fine on it and stuff. thats just my main concern if it will run, thx for any help^_^

What are your computer specs first?

I have Vista and it runs just fine, haven't had an issues and finally got deadly reflex working(not a Vista related problem)

There was this thread here recently and as I put up in it, here is me running oblivion as a test on Vista. However my machine is kinda crazy speced tho not complete as of yet... Cheap RAM will have to be upgraded some point... probably 2 or 3 months time when there is better RAM around and also gunna go SLI on the graphics card... But anyway... if you are running Vista, you should have a minimum of 1GB... For gaming I'd say 2GB of RAM, also a minimum of a 256MB Graphics Card at a GeForce 7 or equilivant or higher. And also probably a Duo Core Processor either AMD or Intel else I'd think it is not worth the upgrade to Vista... hee...

btw do you have a TB pc yet? (in memory?)

TB... as in Terabyte? Hmmm That would be Storage or Hard Drive Space what I have a supposed 500GB Hard Drive but given how different companies declare Bytes It's more like 450GB =/... 430GB to Windows and 20 GB will be going to Ubuntu(Linux).

Anyway... Memory refers to RAM but don't worry about that too much... be like 15 years before we will be seeing PCs with 1TB of memory I think... 48GB is the limit currently... hee... my PC has a 8GB Limit but Vista is only working at 32 Bit so that'll be a 4GB limite from that... in a years time when 64 bit Drivers come out properly for Vista I'll probably upgrade to 64bit and 8GB of RAM.
