re: Mods |

Assuming it is just a simple mod with only an esp file, then just put the esp file in the Oblivion Data folder. When you start up Oblivion, go to Data Files before starting your game and click on the box next to that esp file to make sure it is active.

re: Mods |

In the oblivion directory there should be a folder named Data, if not make one, put it all in there. ------------------- ![]() Gamertag: iBeZi

re: Mods |

You should definitely have a Data folder. That is where all the textures, meshes, music, etc. are located; not to mention all of your default esp and bsa files. As BeZ said, it should be in your Oblivion folder. There should be another folder inside called Data. This is where you will put any mod files. There should already be such a folder as part of the default installation of the game.

re: Mods |
quote Conan EdogawaA simple mod would be something like a weapon, or armor, and is also usually a script. An advanced mod would be something more along the lines of a house.

re: Mods |

Actually a simple mod would be more like placing a weapon in existance somewhere, an advanced mod would be one which creates a totally new weapon which looks completly different and so would need new textures and meshes. ------------------- ![]() Gamertag: iBeZi
