I must be thick, but I can not work out the Piller at Vantacen, if anyone has done this can they point me in the right direction. PLEASE, BEG BEG...

I think it's Fire Damage, Shock Damage, any negative Magicka effect, any positive Magicka effect... could be wrong. But if you want to do it the correct way... rather then the guess work. Talk to the two people around... the khajiit has a translation book that her underling can use... if you can convience her to part with the book an all.

Fire damage, frost damage, drain magicka, fortify magicka. And if you don't have any of those attacks, then you can use the scrolls that will be in the area where that one guy is standing. He will be next to a chest, and inside of that are a bunch of scrolls.

Theres one scroll that isn't in the chest though, and that is frost, do you better buy one before hand, or you will have to hunt for one.

im on this now and ive just realised where i went wrong...i did fire, ice and then i did fortify instead of damage majicka. *sigh* i have to go buy a spell for it now.

if you translate everything, then the guy can put them in the right order I believe

i translated them all then he just stands there and moans at me to get on with it? grrr, meh, i'll get over it.

I translated them, and he gave me the last 2 as increase magicka, then decrease, when it works the other way around...

i think you have to to each corner of the room for each dif spell. i did but maybe its not necessary

Just make sure that you ask the mage with the book to translate all of them... Then do fire, frost, Dm magicka, Ft magicka... One of the magicka scroll spells (either Dm magicka or Ft magicka) is a touch spell so make sure your actually touching the pillar.

I also recommend that you Quick Save (F5) before applying the spells. Then, if you make a mistake, you can just reload (F9) and do it again.
