if ur part of the arcane university u can get it easily in the garden, try buying it 2, maybe they will have it in the Main Ingridient in IC, otherwise just search in forests, i find them alot in forests, maybe try in dark places in forests,...

if u dont find them anywhere the best way is take all books and other flat items, place the items on each other and make steps so u can go over the wall of the Arcane University, then go to the garden, its just outside in the extreem right corner of the University, i myself didn't try this, just came up with it

The West Weald area is a good place for it, apparently according to an ingredient list info.

If you have Frostcrag Spire then you will have some Nightshade in the garden. If you have the Deepscorn Hollow plugin and have purchased the poison garden upgrade you will have multiple samples of Nightshade in that garden as well.
